Celebrate today

I made another card for the challenges at Winnie and Walter and Pinkfresh Studio! This time I created my own background. I stamped a background image from Impression Obsession and added some embossing powder to it. After heating the embossing powder I decided to blend a couple of distress inks over it. I added the colors with a sponge dauber and sprayed a little bit water on top of them to make it blend a little bit more. I stamped a banner and created a message from The Big, The Bold and The Extras from Winnie and Walter. I stamped it in charcoal ink from Hero Arts so it would get a softer look than when you'd stamp it in a deep black color. I added two chipboard images and some sequins (Neat and Tangled) to finish my card.

Nog een kaartje voor de Winnie and Walter en Pinkfresh Studio challenges! Dit keer heb ik mijn eigen achtergrond gemaakt. De achtergrond is een stempel die ik met heat embossing heb gemaakt. Hierover heb ik wat distress inkt aangebracht en een klein beetje water gesprayed om de kleuren in elkaar over te laten lopen. Ik heb de banner en de tekst uit een stempelset van Winnie and Walter en daar heb ik nog twee chipboard plaatjes aan toegevoegd. De sequins zijn dit keer van Neat and Tangled.
