I've been sharing a lot of stamped cards lately but today I have another 3D image to share with you :). These owls are pretty big and great for a CAS card! This one has a couple of glittered pieces and some nice foiled details. I used a stencil and some distress ink to make the background. I cut out a circle from patterned paper (with lovely foiled details too) with my Simon Says Stamp stitched dies and added the owl on top of it. And of course, the sequins couldn't be missing ;).

De laatste tijd heb ik veel gestempelde kaarten met jullie gedeeld maar vandaag heb ik een keer een 3D kaartje :). Deze uilen zijn heel erg goed te gebruiken voor een 'clean and simple' kaart. Je hoeft maar weinig toe te voegen om toch een leuke kaart te hebben. Er zitten wat glittergedeeltes en wat stukjes foliedruk op de uil wat hem net wat extra uitstraling geeft. Ik heb een stencil en distress inkt gebruikt voor de achtergrond en heb daarna een cirkel uitgesneden met een stans van Simon Says Stamp. Het papier wat ik heb gebruikt heeft ook mooie foliedetails dus dat past wel bij de uil. En natuurlijk konden de sequins ook niet missen op deze kaart ;).

And I have a couple of sketches to share with you too :).

I sketch most of my illustrations out before I start digitalizing them. This time I made my illustrations on wood and I didn't digitalize them but I painted them by hand. A different experience but really relaxing to do. Just to get some time away from the computer :).

After my first scene with the little girl on the swing I decided to make another one with poppies. I love flowers and poppies are one of my favorites to draw.
