Today I wanted to show you this beautiful girl stamp from the 'Beautiful - inside and out' kit. I don't stamp or color humans often but I love this image! The image is really detailed with shadowing/hair etc so it's not hard to color it and get a great picture. And of course the sentiments in the kit fit really well with it :).

I stamped the image with Versamark ink and added some sparkling dark embossing powder from Wow! to make the image stand out, even before the colors would be added. After stamping and embossing it I kept the coloring process pretty simple. This are just three colors from my Gansai Tambi watercolor set and some water to make it flow :). A great CAS card where the stamps do most of the work for you.

Vandaag wil ik jullie een leuke stempel van een vrouw laten zien, deze komt uit de 'Beautiful - inside and out' kit. Ik stempel niet vaak mensen maar dit plaatje vind ik wel erg mooi! Het is van zichzelf al vrij gedetailleerd met schaduwwerking e.d. dus het is niet heel moeilijk om hem in te kleuren. En de teksten uit de set passen er natuurlijk heel mooi bij :).

Ik heb de stempel gestempeld met Versamark inkt en daarna een donkere glitter embossing gebruikt om het plaatje te maken. Daarna heb ik het vrij simpel gehouden en het plaatje ingekleurd met drie kleuren waterverf uit mijn Gansai Tambi set. En een hoop water om de verf mooi te verwerken natuurlijk. De stempel doet hier het meeste werk al voor je :).

Today I used a lot of die cut circles, patterned papers (from Create A Smile Stamps), sequins and stamps. I die cut some circles (stitched circles dies from Simon Says Stamp) out a white panel and filled the circles with different sizes of patterned papers. I stamped the 'sending you all my love' sentiment with black archival ink, the heart stamps are also from Unity Stamps. I won them earlier this year in someone else's GIU week, so you could win something like this haha (and a lot more stamps). To finish my card I added a couple of sequins from Doodlebug. 

Vandaag heb ik veel cirkels uitgesneden en papier gebruikt met verschillende patroontjes (van Create A Smile Stamps). Ik heb de cirkels uitgesneden met stansen van Simon Says Stamp. Ik heb de tekst 'sending you all my love' gebruikt op de grootste cirkel en de rest van mijn kaart gevuld met hartjes stempels (die ik eerder dit jaar heb gewonnen in een GIU week van iemand anders). Om mijn kaart af te maken heb ik wat sequins van Doodlebug toegevoegd.

Hallo allemaal! Deze week ben ik de 'Growing In Unity Gal' bij Unity Stamps. Dat betekent dat ik deze week elke dag een berichtje plaats waarbij ik stempels van Unity Stamp gebruik. Vergeet niet om ook nog een reactie achter te laten op mijn berichtjes want aan het einde van de week kies ik twee winnaars die 25 (willekeurige) stempels van Unity Stamps kunnen winnen!

I'm starting this week with some watercolors, embossing powder, sequins and of course the Unity Stamps. I stamped this flower from the 'Beautiful - inside and out' kit with black archival ink on watercolor paper. I worked really quick and added some clear embossing powder right after I stamped the image. The archival ink dries pretty quick but I was fast enough to emboss the image.

Now the image is embossed it's pretty easy to color it. I used Gansai Tambi watercolors which are very vibrant. After coloring the image I die-cut it with a die from My Favorite Things and I added the sentiment stamp (from the May Hope Sustain You sentiment kit). I used a pearl card and some pink patterned paper as a base for my card, I added a pink/white bakers twine and some sequins to finish my card!

Ik begin deze week met waterverf, embossing poeder, sequins en natuurlijk de stempels van Unity Stamps. Ik heb de bloem gebruikt uit de 'Beautiful - inside and out' kit, ik heb hem gestempeld met zwarte archival ink waarna ik er snel een transparante embossing poeder overheen heb gedaan. De archival ink droogt snel dus je moet niet te lang wachten want dan blijft de embossingpoeder niet meer zitten.

Na het embossen van de stempel is het vrij makkelijk om het plaatje in te kleuren. Ik heb Gansai Tambi waterverf gebruikt, deze waterverf heeft mooie heldere kleuren. Na het verven heb ik nog een tekst toegevoegd uit de May Hope Sustain You kit. Ik heb een parelmoer-kleurige basis voor mijn kaart gebruikt. Om de kaart af te maken heb ik nog een mooi roze achtergrondpapier een stukje touw en wat sequins toegevoegd.
